This game involves a very "pay to win" style business model. If you don't mind always being inferior to others--unless you pay--then this game is decent for its genre. Of course, this game has the potential for infinite troop counts similar to its now closed browser-based counterpart--something rather unique in the genre. This leads to large gaps in power between those who can afford paying and those that just started. It was worse on PC, but the underlying problem can still be seen here, too.

I really like DoA and I used to play it on the PC before they closed servers, that being said, there are a few things wrong with this version: 1. No more trading. It was wonderful being able to mass produce a single resource and sell it to players and buy what you needed. You had more control over your economy without it being open for pillaging by higher levels. 2. Leveling is too easy. I've been playing for about 9 days and I've reached level 25 by just using what the game gives away everyday and maybe training some men. Plus when you level up you're already 3/4 the way through the next level. 3. Higher Level harassment. There needs to be some way of stopping the higher level players from constantly harassing lower levels, preventing them from leveling up. And example is two players in the same clan with near 30million power each, attacking the players near them at 500k or less power. It's just a little more than ridiculous as you can imagine. Lastly. I deleted this game because you updated it and it set All my troops to defend for a full day, in which time I was attacked and lost 3m power in premium troops I cannot get back. All that being said. Love this game and it's incredibly fun to play, I wish more people had it and some bugs got fixed.

I love this game and have so much fun playing it but on the 25th of December, gaea had a box up for sale which contained extra items which has happened in other chests. A lot of players bought it then gaea decided to go back in and take all those items away but they didn't want to give back the money or gems people spent. I love and will keep playing but I won't spend and advise others not to because gaea is not trustworthy.
